So, how does this work?
-
My service focuses on middle school, high school, and adult learners. Whether you’re taking Spanish at school, preparing for travel, or learning for personal enrichment, I can tailor lessons for your needs.
-
I teach all levels of Spanish, from beginning to advanced. For middle school students, I teach levels 1 and 2. For high school students, I teach levels 1-5 and AP-level courses. And for college students, I cover both lower- and upper-division classes.
-
Yes! I’ll help with completing homework and making sure the information is understood. I can structure and assist with all general test prep, including AP-level.
-
My approach is communicative. I will help improve pronunciation, conversation, listening comprehension, and everyday vocabulary.
-
Lessons are provided primarily online via Zoom. In-person lessons are gladly accommodated – we can discuss details.
-
A session is 50 minutes, and I recommend two sessions per week.
-
The rate is $85 per session.
-
If you’re taking a Spanish class, bring your textbook, notes, and assignments. For independent learners, I can provide and customize materials to your specific needs.
-
If needed, I can provide materials for independent practice depending on your goals.
-
Yes! We can have an introductory lesson at no cost to you, to understand your goals and make a plan for future lessons.
-
Other things I can provide are clarification on notes, grammar and vocabulary support, listening, reading, writing and speaking practice, and study guides.
-
I use a multimodal approach using common resources like textbooks and worksheets, as well as supporting media that may include songs, memes/jokes, and visuals to explain concepts.
